Finally… I crossed off Acadia National Park from my list titled: “National Parks I’m Dying to Visit”. And we conquered it as campers!
Being surrounded by pine trees, the crashing of the Atlantic’s brisk air with the summer heat, and the laughter from the ones I love the most, helped fulfill my every expectation. We spent time baiting crabs on the lake shore, walking store to store, sitting around the campfire making s’mores, admiring the New England scenery, and staring at all the parked boats ready for lobster catching the next morning in absolute awe. I could go on (with thousands of run-on sentences) telling you all about the beauty of this place… so, don’t tempt me… and please, go see it for yourself!
As my Aunt Memita would scream outside the car window (every chance she got): “I LOVE MAINE!!!”
